Sharon Baptist Church is a body of believers who organized in 1914 with only a few large families. Over the years God has brought many other families to join with us in pursuing Christ and making Him known. Today, Sharon Baptist Church is the beneficiary of over 100 years of God’s favor and faithfulness to our body. Even though we might not look like we did in 1914, with just a few large families; a couple of things remain the same: we are still the only church in the Friend Community, east of Chickasha, and God is still using us to bring the hope of the Gospel to the hearts and homes of those who live in and around our community.
